I just got this sanitizer today and love how natural it is! I always felt self conscious or had the desire to wipe my hands after using conventional hand sanitizer but w/ this stuff i am totally comfortable with it!! After reading other reviews and being acquainted with the fact that some natural oils have a strong smell I expected as much after using it. LOL- this sanitizer smells REALLY STRONG. I was actually surprised how strong it smelled and how long it lingered. None the less, I personally like the smell, however my husband who is not quite into 'natural' things does not like the scent/how strong it is and refuses to use it/doesn't want to be around it. So something to maybe keep in mind/ or use discretion with is to be conscious of being in enclosed areas (ex. a car w/ windows rolled up, even a small office or small room )using it as maybe it might physically irritate someone w/allergies or sensitive to strong smells and gets headaches, etc. But once again, I LOVE THIS AND... My job requires me to use hand sanitizer multiple times throughout the day. Before I found this product, I often worried about the chemicals that other hand santizers contained. I love this product because it is 100% natural and it does not dry out my hands, all while killing the same amount of germs. The smell is slightly strong, but only for a second.
