While ice soothed some, I knew that I needed something more. I saw Earth Mama products on line and ordered the Postpartum Recovery Kit. The Mama Bottom Balm was part of it and boy did it make a difference. It soothed, cooled and healed me in no time. During my second pregnancy, I discovered hemorrhoids. The prescription cream did nothing. I remembered having some of this left over and even though it was past the due date, I was had heavenly relief after a few days of use. I ordered two more jars in addition to another Postpartum Recovery Kit in preparation for the time following this delivery. It is a must have product. It's indispensable if you tear, but even if you don't, it's so soothing. It's great for those pre-natal hemorrhoids and varicosities, as well as the post-partum soreness and stretching. I just can't live without it. My post-partum routine has become: Step 1: wash with warm water from the peri bottle, Step 2: spray some Earth Mama Bottom Spray, Step 3: apply the Earth Mama Bottom Balm.
