Witch Hazel does wonders in helping you to deal with this nasty, painful issue. It can sometimes be an issue separating the pads, but it is not too big of a deal. I also used an anesthetic spray in conjunction with these pads. I really feel they helped with my soreness, especially since I already had hemorrhoids during the pregnancy.
